History of Our Holy Convocation 

Throughout the 44 years of Our Holy Convocation, all themes tie in with oneness within the Body of Christ, celebrating Jesus, and the Gospel by which we are saved. There have been many accounts regarding the expectation of The Holy Convocation, and those who have witnessed the move of God during this annual gathering.

 

Take our late Apostle William Brown remarks on our Holy Convocation in 2000, with the theme being "Abiding in Love".

"Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ

I continue to be amazed by the ability of those who are in charge of this Holy Convocation No group has had a togetherness with more integrity, a greater zeal for work and a finer spirit of cooperation than this group. The officers and workers of the Convocation have been a vital part of our growth and development. My thanks are expressed to them for their concern and cooperation, and for the vision they have shown in wise planning for Salvation and Deliverance Churches' Holy Convocation.

My heartfelt thanks are extended to all of you from America and from abroad. We have a Convocation because you support it. Thanks for your loyalty and support. I am grateful for a loving. considerate and supporting Christian organization and all the blessings that come from these Christian relationships they have been sustaining.

Let us not be ashamed to proclaim that we are on a journey for cleanliness, righteousness, dignity and purity. We are the earthen vessels that God has entrusted with a precious and abiding heritage. We dare not prove unworthy. Strong, intelligent thinking and hard, diligent planning must continue to be a vital part of our Convocation.

As worshipping stewards of God, we are sanctified by our many creative involvements as we travel our journey. Internal involvement in mission Christian education, and witnessing to lost souls everywhere Is our response to the presence and guidance of the Holy Spirit.

In the sanctification process, we are acutely conscious of our tasks. And as we bear the burdens of Christian service, we remember that we are not alone."
