OUR PASTOR, Apostle Jerome King
Served in the United States Air Force and received the Vietnam Service Medal (VSM, for duties rendered in South East Asia). This medal is given to members of the armed forces for their service during the Vietnam War. While in the service he received training and worked as a "Jet Engine Technician" then pursued technical training in electrical wiring, air condition & refrigeration.
Forty two years ago he accepted the Lord Jesus Christ into his heart and was filled with the Holy Ghost; he joined the Salvation & Deliverance Church family and labored relentlessly in the ministry, serving in the capacities of minister, elder and bishop. He also served as Vice President of the Executive Board and Dean of Saint Paul's Bible Institute. And for many years he held the position of church administrator.
Bishop King served under the auspices of Apostle William Brown where he learned how to be a true servant of God, and the knowledge he has gleaned has prepared him to accomplish the work the Lord has ordained for him to achieve.
As his hunger for the word of the Lord increased, he started attending Saint Paul's Bible Institute where he earned a Bachelor, Master and Doctorate degrees in Theology. Working on the total man, he returned to secular studies where he pursued and received a Bachelor Degree in Psychology from the College of New Rochelle in New York. He continued his studies at Montclair State University in New Jersey where he received his Master Degree in Counseling. His pursuits yielded a license as a Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) and certification as a Student Assistance Coordinator (SAC) for the state of New Jersey Board of Education.
As a minister of the gospel, Apostle King has preached in several states such as; New York, New Jersey, Conneticut, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Delaware, Pennsylvania to name a few. Also, Apostle King has preached the gospel on an international stage proclaiming the gospel in Canada, Africa, Jamaica/West Indies, and India, reaching the lost at any cost through Pentecost.
Apostle King celebrates his life with his beautiful wife, Evangelist, Lady Ann King and to his union they are blessed with children, seventeen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

It was in August of 1982 where First Lady King accepted the Lord as her Savior at an old fashioned tent meeting held by Salvation & Deliverance Church Ministry under the leadership of founder and former Overseer Apostle William Brown. In February of 1983, Evangelist King was filled with the precious gift of God's Holy Ghost. In June of 1994, she answered the call of God in her life. She is an ordained minister who exhibits her devotion to the vision of the ministry through the gifts and anointing of God to preach and teach the Word of God.
Humbly she serves the Lord as Church Administrator and as Pastor's personal secretary. Although her outside training has helped to prepare her for the position, it was the Lord who anointed, qualified and sent her to do a work for Him.
She is a devoted wife and mother, grandmother and great grandmother. First Lady is an inspiratin to all in pursuit of the high calling of God. Anointed and commissioned to preach the Gospel, she is known and admired for her humility and agape love towards the people of God. One of her desires is to see souls saved and lives changed by the power of God. Her warm sense of humor is inviting and comforting while maintaining a walk of true holiness and integrity without compromise.
She has gracefully accepted the special call on her life to minister to and unite women in the body of Christ. She is earnestly seeking the hand of God to be with her as she endeavors to continue to serve in the work of the ministry. As God continues to shower her with the abundance of His grace and anointing, we wait prayerfully in anticipation for all that God has promised to do in this awesome woman of God. First Lady King is a genuine modern day example of a "Proverbs 31 woman".
