APOSTLE jerome king
APOSTLE JEROME KING proudly served in the Air Force, earning the Vietnam Service Medal for his duties in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War. During his military career, he trained as a Jet Engine Technician and furthered his technical education in electrical wiring, air conditioning, and refrigeration.
Forty-two years ago, he welcomed the Lord Jesus Christ into his heart and was filled with the Holy Ghost, joined the Salvation and Deliverance Church family and labored relentlessly in the ministry serving in various roles such as minister, elder, bishop. Also serving as Vice President of the Executive Board and Dean of Saint Paul's Bible Institute, and for many years, he served as the church administrator.
Bishop King learned the true essence of servant-hood under the auspices of Apostle William Brown. The wisdom and knowledge acquired has equipped him to fulfill the divine purpose God has set for him. With a heart devoted to service and an understanding of his congregation's needs, Apostle Jerome King's journey reflects his steadfast faith and dedication to his calling.
As his desire for the Word of the Lord deepened, he began attending Saint Paul's Bible Institute, where he earned a Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctorate degrees in Theology. Focusing on the holistic development of individuals, he later returned to secular studies and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the College of New Rochelle in New York. He furthered his education at Montclair State University in New Jersey, where he received a Master's Degree in Counseling. His academic journey led to licensure as a Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor and certification as a Student Assistance Coordinator from the New Jersey Board of Education.
As a minister of the gospel, Apostle King has preached across various states, including the Tri-State area, Virginia , North Carolina, South Carolina, Delaware, and Pennsylvania, among others. Furthermore, he has taken the gospel to an international audience, sharing the Word in Canada, Africa, Jamaica/ West Indies, and India, striving to reach the lost through the power of Pentecost and encouraging believers to pursue knowledge and personal growth as a means of honoring God.
Apostle King celebrates his life with his beautiful wife, Evangelist, Lady Ann King and to his union they are blessed with children, seventeen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
